SAU S.P.A.

SAU S.p.A was established in 1986 as a service and after-sale service company. As such the company soon expanded its production of special indexable insert tools , thus gaining important design- and production-experience in the manufacture of tools. Strengthened by this know-how, S.A.U. later decided to extend its production to standard products, thus becoming a company capable of complying with a large variety of machining requirements in the fields of turning, milling and drilling.

SAU S.p.A has a manufacturing plant equipped with six NC-lathes and 14 five-axis machining centres of the last generation with automatic loading stations and all the handling and safety devices required for unmanned machining. The product-range manufactured with this machinery is so wide and complete as to comply, in terms of both execution and application, with any requirement of the mechanical industry . Our manufacturing efforts are mainly focused on the following sectors: 1. Indexable insert turning tools (type P and M) 2. Milling tools (cutters) with screw-or wedge-type clamping system for facing or shoulder-milling 3. Drilling tools (drills)
