The Company

CMS S.p.A., the company that heads the group of the same name, was set up in 1977 in the district of Modena, operating in the field of contract engineering work and according to UNI standards EN 29002 since 1994. In the course of time it consolidated its position in the market and branched out to form complementary divisions with a view to both expanding and diversifying its activity, including manufacturing of automatic packaging machinery and design and production of the "eco-machines", automated units intended for the collection of used packaging for liquids and solids.

The Products

CMS group is able to support its customers from the design up to the series production - passing through the prototype manufacturing - both for different and complex mechanical components and for the assembling and test of complete machines. Productive applications address a vast range of fields: the food industry with packaging machinery for liquids and solids, the textile industry, the automotive and motor racing sector, the earth moving machinery, the railways, the biomedical sector. CMS machines stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium; it has a production capacity for small and middle series, based on access to a wide range of advanced machinery and technology. CMS inner product are the "eco-machines", recovery units intended for the compaction of waste in the form of plastic bottles, plates, utensils, cups, paper and fibreboard, foil, aluminium and steel cans. "Lizzy", the cup disposer; "Tritone", the cup shredder; "Tinlizzy", the can compactor, "Superlizzy", the refuse disposer (for compacting different products) are designed for use in industrial settings and in public places such as fast-food restaurants, supermarkets, canteens, hospitals, etc.
